God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1
Very Present. Not just “present” 🙋♂️ ticking some box to show He’s here while you’re going through a deep dark valley. 🚫 Having the Living God only offer to hang out with you, doing nothing but saying “present” isn’t very helpful in the valleys. 😕
No, He’s Very Present. Here, working to get us out.
The Hebrew word we translate as “very” is ” מְאֹד ” pronounced ” meh-ode’ ” and it means “exceedingly, might, force…” and the word we translate as “present” is ” מָצָא ” pronounced ” maw-tsaw’ ” and it means “to find, attain…” or even “to cause to encounter.”
Wow!
In this Psalm it is saying that, in trouble, we encounter the exceedingly mighty force of God Himself! And that force is on OUR side, working FOR us, in Christ Jesus!
Praise the Lord!! 🙌
You are MORE than a conquerer in Christ Jesus! His Word is true and He is Faithful! He is the Conqueror, you are the “More Than!” Hallelujah!

ANY trouble that dared to show up in your life will Surely come face to face with the exceedingly mighty force of the Most High God. 💪 You can NOT lose!
